"I lived in Patan, Nepal in 2006 and have returned several times to reconnect with my "Nepali Family" and the one of kind culture of the Kathmandu Valley. The Inn Patan is a treasured restoration of a traditional Newari home, and is a moments walk to Patan's Durbar Square. The property is extremely quiet, the on-site restaurant is excellent, and the staff are consistently wonderful and accommodating. "The hotel is an old heritage building so the bathrooms are small but perfectly functional and clean. Our view from both rooms was terrible but that happens and we didn't spend much time in the room so it wasn't the end of the world. Staff made the stay from the cleaning and dining staff to the security they were all amazing. Only issue I had was with the front desk staff, they were aloof and rude. You were made to feel that you weren't good enough to stay there, which was certainly not the behaviour of the rest of the staff. It's a shame that the front-line staff leave a bad taste. "
