"My husband and I traveled here with my parents and two children (6yr old and 2yr old) for a long weekend to celebrate my son’s sixth birthday. We wanted a location that was convenient for a short trip to Philly museums and to Legoland discovery. This hotel was about 15-20 minutes from Philadelphia city center and 10 minutes from Legoland Discovery. The hotel is definitely elevated, compared to other hotels in the area. It has a nice bar / lounge area that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And then an upscale dinner restaurant on the second floor with full bar. It also has a large grass field in front of the hotel that is great for children to run around while parents sit in the Adirondack chairs and have a cocktail. Although we didn’t spend too much time outside and given the cold weather, I can only imagine it would be great in the spring and summer! The hotel is nicely located within walking distance from restaurants, coffee, shops, and cafés. There is parking in a self-parking garage that is adjacent to the hotel driveway. It is $30 a night and you can go in and out as many times as you’d like. Front desk staff was very nice. Daily room cleaning was efficient and well done. We stayed on the third floor and could hear car traffic at night when the room was silent, but playing my white noise app was perfect. Otherwise, the hotel was great and we will definitely be back. The only drawback was no microwave in the room, which was okay even with small kids."

"This hotel was a great choice and one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. It isn’t the most up to date hotel however it is very clean! The reviews all said how clean it was and did not disappoint. The manager, Pat, who was working at the front desk when I checked in was extremely friendly. She went above and beyond to make sure that everything about my stay was perfect! She was a high point in my day which hadn’t been the greatest until that point. She was very personable, friendly, and cheerful. She truly made my stay an outstanding one! Overall this hotel stay was filled with nothing but highlights and left me with nothing but good things to say. The breakfast as well as the woman who was tending to it (I don’t know her name) were awesome! She was very friendly and sweet and went out of her way to make sure that everyone had what they needed and was enjoying their food. She kept the area very neat and orderly and was on top of making sure the items were restocked as needed. This hotel did not disappoint and neither did the employees. It made a regular weekend stay and definite highlight and I would certainly not hesitate to stay here again. "
