"We stay here when in Yeovil visiting relatives. The Hotel is dated, and a little 'tired' . However there is always a war., cheerful welcome. The rooms are large and windows can be opened which is a big bonus in my view. We made the mistake of trying a different hotel once. Never again. The manor suits our needs and budget. "

"We love Lyme Regis and The Royal Lion Hotel. It is historic and charming.The rooms are large and comfortable.It has a new indoor pool. The food is great. It is in the high street so very close to shops, restaurants, bars,and cafes, and of course the sea and the quaint Cobb. "

In decent condition but to recognise its price point and position, a refresh of interior finishing would benefit, The staff are excellent, I interacted with housekeeping, reception, night porter and breakfast team, all are exceptionally friendly, the receptionist in particular was really very helpful and kind. The room was a little tired and some or the corridor areas could do with a freshening up. All told a very nice overnight stay and will stay again when in the area.
