"Enjoyable stay "

"Amazing room, great decor with nice pictures and books. Very comfortable bed, great bathroom. Very good food at the restaurant, generous breakfast included. Went back for Sunday roast and it was very good. Staff very nice and helpful. Would recommend to all my friends "

"This was a lovely place to stay, and very good value with breakfast included. Dorchester on Thames is a very quiet village on the edge of the Cotswolds - something you may well appreciate if you venture into the tourist hotspots! All the staff were brilliant and really helpful. Breakfast was outstanding and cooked to order (with plenty of cereal, fruit, yoghurt and preserves available too.) Room was a really good size, comfortable (if perhaps a little frayed around the edges) Decent food in the restaurant and some lovely ales in the bar. Oh, and free parking (in their car park and on the street outside) Beware though if you’re rather tall like me…people were a bit shorter in the 17th century and you’ll need to remember to duck!!"

"Lovely stay at a genuine village pub, not a restaurant with rooms or a hotel with a bar, this is the real thing. Beautifully furnished rooms, amazing staff and service and fantastic atmosphere, and Blewbury is beautiful. The Ukrainian menu has to be tried! We loved also that the dog was as welcome as we were."
