"Small hotel, well kitted out rooms, very helpful and friendly staff.
Sea view rooms have great views of the sea and the pier. Short walk to the beach or the shopping areas and The Lanes.
Have stayed there many times and never disappointed.
Only thing to be aware of is"

"We had a lovely stay in the downstairs large room, waking up to the view was a treat with lots of hills & countryside. Our host was great, very friendly, chatty & helpful. If you want a rustic, ramshackle, different type of stop over but with a beautiful setting this is it.
A very characterful place all round. You can't help but take it for what it is 😄"

Excellent value for money. Lovely location in Kemptown. Clean room (with plenty tea and coffee - a rarity these days). Minor complaint (but really minor, given the positives) is that the reception is mostly unstaffed and the phone number not always answered. Would def stay again.

This is a truly charming and welcoming place. We arrived in the very early hours, almost at dawn, having flown in to Gatwick on a slightly delayed flight. Booked in advance and having contacted the owner they arranged everything perfectly for us, including adding an extra bed which was made up in advance and looked very cosy. The room was spotless, with a Mediterranean feel combined with an olde English coaching inn. Very comfortable beds, soft linens and gentle fragrances. It must be a very...

OMG. I stay in a lot of hotels but this tops the list of my favourites. My junior suite was vast and the food excellent. Stay here......except when I want to stay again!

If you want a place for quiet, have a light meal and a good nights sleep, then this is it. But if you want space to spread out or to do some work, not so good.
It’s an ideal stop prior to an early morning flight.

I was disappointed that there was no food available in the evening, it meant a 10 minute walk in torrential rain to get to the beefeater restaurant across the bridge. Other than that, the stay was very pleasant. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I stayed in the Hilton Arundel for Goodwood last year and have to say that the Confort Inn was a lot better. Just missed the food aspect.

Booked a 5 day, 6 night stay. My grandchildren and daughter love it there as much as i do. We love Eastbourne. One of the housekeeping staff gave my grandsons teddy pride of place on the bed. Always cleaned to a high standard. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
