"Clean, comfortable room. Good location, wlaking distance to city centre. Good dinner menu with a few unusual item which we liked. Breakfast was excellent - one of the best. Would stay again."

"Staff were fantastic, food lovely, room and shower great. Common areas such as bar, reception etc as nice as they were, were FREEZING cold and not pleasant to be in without wrapping up! No Sky TV despite the staff thinking there was?! Others commented on this too. DO NOT BOOK the UNDERGROUND hotel parking if you have anything larger than an average hatchback! Despite me enquiring about parking no one said how difficult it is to access in a medium - large car. We managed but would not book again. I feel this should be pointed out. We will book the multi-storey car park opposite next time. With a few tweaks this would be an unbeatable hotel for central Birmingham. We will definitely stay again when they have such a good rate offered. Normal rate is expensive. Pillows good - beds quite hard if you prefer a softer mattress."

"Fantastic hotel conveniently located in central Birmingham and ideal for both business and weekend stays. Lovely breakfast with professional service. Large, clean, well maintained rooms with an excellent view of Birmingham (stayed on 16th floor). Free access to the spa was an added bonus."

"Sadly the hotel is room only these days room was in good condition and clean a bit old fashion other than that couldn’t fault it . Bathroom was great and nice and clean. Sad there is no bar or restaurant in operation how ever plenty of places to eat with in 10m away.Being a Shrewsbury lad went to plenty of functions and weddings here sad it’s not in full operation . Plenty of parking on site and staff very helpful ."

"Stayed over for a night to watch the European Athletics Champs and had a great time! The staff were kind; the room was clean and a lot bigger than anticipated. The breakfast was also v3ry decent. All in all, well worth it"

"Really enjoyed our stay, hotel is modern and spotless. Breakfast quality was a real positive. Room was cosy and the beds were very comfortable. Great location in the city! Only slight negative was line for check-in was always quite long although the staff were polite and professional!"
