"We've had a lovely stay at Novotel Cardiff. The staff in reception and at the restaurant were helpful and polite. The buffet breakfast was very good. The swimming pool and spa facilities were great. The room for 4 is not very big but had enough space and was comfortable. The hotel is not in the prettiest area, however is conveniently located 15 minutes walk from the city centre and 5 minute taxi ride from the bay. Also walking distance from the train station. Definitely recommend. "

"The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. The location is excellent for the centre of town and the castle, with convenient parking across the road at the NCP. Rooms were a decent size, clean and had good facilities - nothing unexpected but everything that we needed. The bath was particularly comfortable - normally we find them a bit narrow."
