"My hubby and I spent a few days celebrating our 37th anniversary. Check in was early, front desk staff was excellent- friendly, helpful, & gave us a glass of champagne! Room was clean, ( & cleaned daily) spacious, nice amenities. Rural decor. Beautiful view of the lake. A bottle of champagne was delivered to our room in the afternoon, wonderful surprise and greatly appreciated. We swam in the outdoor heated pool which was a bit dirty but nice and warm. Breakfast at The Dancing Bears was delicious and service was fast, and friendly. No complaints!"

"We liked location & quietness, especially since it’s a larger property. The Haystack Bar & Bistro had wonderful crunchy chicken wings, but my salad with added chicken was terrible, the chicken was chewy, not good. I didn’t eat. The server did offer me if I wanted something else, but the damage was already done. The salad was not removed from the bill or discounted. The modern rooms are designed well, with a huge lake wall art & unique lighting. Overall, a wonderful stay."
