"Had a really great stay at this hotel yet again, and my room was at the quieter side which made it even better. Only slight gripe was the breakfast, was quite busy and had to wait quite a while for everything to get topped up, which meant the things I already had on my plate was getting cold."

"For the money, it was very good. It would be nice if they had little fridges in the rooms. There was no ice in the hotel as it was out of order. Hopefully it will be sorted out soon. Than than that no complaints."

"Hotel in an ideal location for centre of town, close to railway station. Ideal to walk to parkrun in 30 mins. Dog friendly hotel. Some noise from city centre, but not too bad considering a Friday evening. Bathroom in need of an upgrade but was spotless and did not detract from pleasant stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Carpark monitored on cctv. I would recommend and definitely return"

"Lovely hotel, beautiful location by river, handy for local places of interest.Hadrians wall, lots of great walks, lovely villages nearby. Room good, clean and spacious, food excellent at breakfast and in restaurant. Staff, particularly on reception were very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel, and would love to stay again in future."

"Rooms excellent clean, nice decor,good shower. Excellent helpful attentive bar and restaurant staff.check in could have been more informative eg where breakfast was been served,about hotel (minor fault😂) had great stay would definitely return.Food excellent and drinks and nice outside seating area"
