I had high expectations and they were met and exceeded. The staff are polite, courteous and professional without being robotic, and that makes a difference. The room was larger than expecting, well furnished. The bathroom was good and the buttons for the shower avoided the usual fear of having to take a degree in plumbing that you usually find with hotel bathrooms. The owners are really friendly and helpful, they explained everything with a tour of the amenities etc. Breakfast was freshly made and amazing. The room was lovely and very modern.

Food is excellent and we were made very welcome despite arriving late for dinner after a long drive. The chateau itself is a lovely building in a beautiful setting and is furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern. Atmosphere is relaxed and informal. We didn’t have time to use the spa facilities but will do next time we visit.

One night only, but it was lovely. Quiet and beautiful. I stayed in the new wing, which was lovely. My room was huge and the bathroom was beautiful. The grounds are pretty and look over the vines. Not sure about the rest of the local area.

Beautiful Hotel. Could not fault it.

Considering the price, this was a great value option in the Medoc wine region. The hotel is a little dated but clean and well maintained. The reception staff are great. The only thing that could have improved our stay was having more to do around the hotel with young children. With the outdoor pool out of action we were able to use the indoor pool at lunchtime and dinner time each day but otherwise there wasn't much to do. It would be great for example if they could install some petanque courts...

Amazing location, style and very helpful staff

Can't really fault this hotel. Reception staff and restaurant /breakfast staff were extremely kind and helpful. Everyone spoke English if you can't speak French as well. Stayed in a deluxe room on the first floor facing the main road. Although there was passing traffic you couldn't hear a thing due to the triple glazing. I stayed in Les Chambres au Coeur de Bordeaux for 1 night with a friend but would have loved to stay longer. The B& B is just beautiful and the owners so friendly and welcoming that you feel like part of the family. When we arrived we were greeted by the husband and wife and was offered a nice glass of wine while they told us about the area, recommended places to eat and what to see and do for our 2 days in Bordeaux.
