"Listing like the property is outdated"

"Bed was hard as a rock. Toilet made a dripping sound all night. It was very clean but there were unsightly stains in the bathroom. Breakfast was fresh."

"Il Principe is one of the best located hotels in Catania, close to all the main sights and easy walking distance to Square, Monastery, Fish Market etc. The Staff were exceptionally helpful . The reception area's, and Breakfast room had plenty of space and nicely decorated with marble. 2 person lift to all floors. The hotel had somewhere for the luggage on our last day. There was alway someone on reception. The area was quiet and felt safe. Breakfast had a good variety, hot scrambled eggs or boiled, bacon, mushrooms. Cold ham and cheese, yogurts, cereals, croissants. Fruit juice and coffee. The room was a good size and double aspect. Our room had a shower, which was adequate but could have done with updating. Bed was large but a little firmer than we are used to. Towels, hairdryer etc provided. Air conditioning was excellent. Unfortunately there was no kettle or coffee maker in the room, although there was a fridge and safe. I don't think we could have got a hotel that was in a better spot, ideal to pop back to in the day for a rest."

"The room had everything I needed, was clean and the bathroom was really nice. Breakfast was a good selection and when I had an early tour they accommodated an early breakfast for me. Location good, an easy walk from the main area in Catania and close to the train station too. Staff could not be nicer and more helpful. I would 100% stay here again. Thank you!"
