Our stay was outstanding. The location is superb, the room was well-designed and fun, breakfast was generous and tasty, and the access to excursions (and ability to book within 24 hours) was impressive. However, the key selling point of Dome for us was Nicola and the staff. Nicola was attentive and understanding from start to finish. He was available (if needed) by text throughout our stay and helped us with many things. Our flight was relocated and he was at hand to offer options. Fully recommended.

I stayed at the Dome Hotel for one night and really enjoyed it. The location was perfect, and my room was unique, clean, quiet, and beautifully laid out. Nicola, the owner, was extremely helpful and speaks excellent English. My only concern was the lack of an elevator—the hotel is on the second floor of a historic building, with about four flights of stairs. However, Nicola came at 7:00 a.m. to help me carry my suitcase downstairs, which I really appreciated. The airport transfer was excellent and cost €35. Overall, a great hotel, and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Catania.

Perfect location for tourist

Location is perfect as it is located in the middle of everyting in Catania including all the nice restaurants. Room was nicely conditioned and very quite throughout the stay.

Nicola was very helpful with everything. The unit was 3rd floor no elevator…older building; nice renovation . Modern high quality finishes and bathroom fixtures. Big comfortable size compared to London hotel rooms. Did not try the breakfast …. But many restaurant options nearby…Nicola gave us a great restaurant suggestion.

Perfect stay

The stay at Dome was the best of our trip, and overall the best in a while. Nicola is truly the perfect host - everything went super smoothly from booking to check-in and service during the stay. He is so helpful with everything one might need. The room was new, clean and stylish. The AC worked wonderfully and the location was perfect for exploring (and a good night’s sleep). Truly a perfect stay!

Wonderful staff, beautiful breakfast and lovely property. The rooms are well appointed and of a good size. One shelf in the bathroom would be very handy if it could be installed under the vanity as the counter was very small. Loved this property!!!
