We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, returning to the UK on 30th October. The hotel truly lives up to its five stars. Everything, from the room, the restaurant, the facilities are excellent - however there are two things which really stand out: firstly the staff - they are amazing. They will do anything to help and they do it with a genuine smile. This applies to the lovely gentleman who opens the front doors, to the reception staff, to the breakfast staff. Secondly, don't miss breakfast!!...

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. It was close to the centre, which made exploring easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location in quiet street near main square. Usual Arthotel quirky and distinctive room decor. Comfortable junior suite with unusually efficient daily room cleaning service. Excellent breakfast offering. Efficient and helpful reception. Elevator unreliable but otherwise all good.

This was our first time in Bologna and we knew nothing about the city’s hotels. Now having been there, we’re so glad we chose the Aemilia hotel. It’s a little outside the old centre but only a 10-15 minute walk from all the sights. Being outside the centre means that it’s quiet at night. The main thing i liked about the property is modern and stylish and very close to all amnesty. Eventhough we haven't used their restaurants for those who wants they do have restaurants and bar available. The staff speak perfect english and are very helpful. The room is clean but the toilets look dated and had some issues with the flash, basically the water doesn't stop running. I am sure it has been fixed by now, because they have a guy who goes around the rooms and check for faults.

Centrally located near lots of great bars and restaurants. Lovely clean apartments and well equipped. Do read the information in the kitchen. All the wine left in the fridge and kitchen is chargeable if you did not book through their website. Would have been nice to be free for all guests. Also ensure you use the shower mat when stepping out of the shower. The bathroom floor when wet is like an ice rink and unbelievably slippy. Nearly had a nasty fall.

Perfect spot travelling in and out of bologna by train

Very nice hotel situated just 15 mins walk from the main square. Really friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were nicely furnished, and were kept spotlessly clean by the staff each day. The breakfast was excellent with fresh and tasty produce every day, and everything was replenished immediately. The gym was another great find with new techno gym equipment. All in all we had a fantastic stay.

This little gem in the heart of Bologna is a must for any traveller. It's a beautiful apartment set in an original old Italian property, perfectly located within walking distance of all the shops, bars, restaurants, and attractions. Mary is a wonderful host who genuinely goes out of her way to look after you and is always happy to answer any questions you may have. A simple but lovely gesture was the complimentary breakfast at a local coffee shop on our last morning - such an unexpected...

Cracking place good service and very helpful... Location 5 mins to town and near all u could need

Ideal location and room. The only complaint is the noise, you can hear the streets and adjoining rooms but it wasn’t that much of an issue.
