Excellent holiday, great staff, very romantic and relaxing

Excellent property. Various dining options but not all of them in same standards as you expect from HRH

We stayed for 8 nights and had such a relaxing and enjoyable time. We stayed in a deluxe bungalow and it was a 5 second walk from the beach. The room was perfect and the outdoor shower amazing! Snorkelling with sharks was my favourite highlight.

Hotel was the best you could imagine I was with my son, which is a fussy eater he love the food over there me to. Best restaurant on the Gulham is in Ayala. Big choice from burger to chicken tikka masala. All the staff was amazing, very helpful and kind. I had very good feel about that hotel. We stayed there for a day before going to our resort next day. Somerset is a perfect transit hotel for staying in Male. 5 minutes ferry ride and 5 more mins taxi ride from Male airport. The complementary pickup and drop from airport was very well arranged by the hotel staff. They even contacted our next resort and arranged the transfers accordingly.

It was a complete Value for money. The staff were very courteous and the room Facilities were good.

Great place for a stopover

Absolutely stunning property. Service levels and staff are exceptional. Very impressed with the main buffet and other dining options in the property. The M6M experience is unique and very special. The only negatives I would point out is the dining at the Indian / Ceylon restaurant and the snorkelling experience at another resort was much better. at their house reef. From the moment you arrive at the airport everything is 5 stars. Excellent location, beautiful clear white beaches. Cristal clear water. Amazing snorkeling in the reef and lots of amazing fish that can be seen akk the time. The butlers go the extra mile and are truly fantastic. Very reasonably priced, clean and well appointed accommodation in frenetic Male. Reception staff incredibly proactive- including helping me organise an overnight ferry journey to the north (and getting me to the boat pronto by scooter). A nice touch was receiving an apple and orange on arrival. Kettle, tea and coffee in the room.

Reef 10/10, staff 10/10, wifi 8/10 ( connection in my room was bad), price 10/10, meal 8/10 ( spicy, but acceptable).

This hotel was perfect. The location was amazing right outside the bikini beach and close to the port. For a 4 night stay in the Maldives this was great if you are on a budget. The activities on the island were amazing offering more than the average local resort island. The staff at the hotel helped you out where ever they could and got you what you needed. The whole experience was so unique peacful and a memory i can never forget, it was such an amazing resort with beautiful views, my husband and i had a wonderdul time staying here.

Everything was amazing and even a couple of things that weren’t perfect upon our arrival were so attentively fixed with such respect and care that I don’t even remember what these were. The place was great location not far from airport. When looking at hotels around here check to see how far away from airport some can be 4 hour boat ride away this is 15 minutes speed boat away and 35 minutes slow boat. This is really nice scenery but not a 5 star resort. You might have to walk to the bar to get drinks no service all around island. Wifi only in lobby might want to grab a local cell chip with data only $25 and should last a week stay you can use anywhere on island.
