Fabulously interesting renovation of an historic building. Staff were friendly and professional, the room was amazing and parking on site always a bonus.

An absolute gem of a characterful hotel. Shopping in easy walking distance, as is the wonderful steam train working museum. The decor is brilliantly preserved as well as modernised. Italian marble and interesting decor in the lobby and formal dining area.
