Basic room however a heater is included and bed was clean and unlike some local alternatives didn't have bed bugs, unfortunately I had an issue when I arrived back in the room it was quite like nearly 11pm I messaged the hosts and it was literally fully resolved in space of 5 mins I will definitely be visiting again

We'll... Just avoid. Walls are paper thin, can hear everything the rooms next door are talking about. Toilet and shower are really dirty... and the view from the bedroom window (see image - the seat wasnt green its mold/algae). We booked another hotel near by for the same price, but what a change.
Room was dirty, shower room wouldnt wash my dog in it. Tv no remote, sink cold tap span round when trying to use. Due to time restraints i couldnt leave to find better hotel .
Staff great, the hotel was clean. The room was tiny and cramped. Polystyrene tiles on the ceiling i think are illegal. The whole place was very run down . Although there was a panel heater in the room, the room was draughty and cold. Tea and coffee making facilities in room but no hot water this morning from the sink in the room. I appreciate this is a low price hotel, and in fairness its clean and the landlady was lovely. But i wouldn't use it again.
Room on top floor of property with no fire escape except for the front door back on the ground floor.......didn’t sleep well for worrying about this.
Room very basic, toilets and showers on floor below which not ideal with 6 year old who needs to go very often.
Accommodation was a 10 minute walk to promenade which was only advantage.
Unfortunately wouldn’t stay here again, you get what you pay for as the saying goes.
When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly host who was very welcoming and taken into a really messy room where he booked us in. He took us up to our room which was very small but we weren’t expecting much for the price. The first night we got to sleep fine but we were woken up at 2am by other guests. They were very loud and kept us up until about 3/4 and we only managed to get to sleep because we put the tv on to block the noise of them out. The beds are alright they are quite noisy though. The walls are paper thin so you can literally hear everything from the people next door to you and we definitely heard things we could’ve lived without hearing. I’d only recommend staying here if you aren’t wanting to spend much time in the hotel. We left early in the morning and didn’t come back until about 10 so it was alright but we didn’t want to hang around in the hotel. The room doesn’t feel safe or secure as the door is quite flimsy and the fire alarm was hanging off the ceiling. Don’t stay if you are a family or if you’re wanting to spend time in the hotel in the day. The shower was quite dirty. It’s just rundown and in need of some TLC. But you get what you pay for. If you stay here just hope you aren’t stuck next door to the same people we were! But the host is friendly and the location is convenient.
The hotel owner is nice and helpful. It would be better if he washed the used dished in the tea area immediately. There was no clean cup that I could use. There is no towel provided, which was inconvenient.
The owner was extremely nice and helpful. The room we stayed in was clean and freshly painted. It was a comfortable night aside from the fact that there were drunkards living beside us and the owner didn't deal with the high noise levels.
I arrived at the hotel and was greeted by Genteman looked a little bit crazy the place looked very disgusting and looked a mess when I got to my room I will arrive there was no towels the gentleman was very helpful and offered me a towel which is not normally standard so thank you for that after checking I was then given a phone call to inform me that I've broken the window I'll be stopping in hotels for a long time . He informed me that I have now defected is room well unfortunately the place needs a revamp it needs some decent money spending on it and it also needs to be a lot cleaner I'm really sorry but I will be a shame to run this hotel it is very pooler in standards and the management is not much better I am sorry but I would not recommend this place to anybody
We weren't expecting much due to the price but even so the room still did disappoint. We were shown up to the family room which was dirty, cold and in need of a major redecoration. The wallpaper was dirty, dark and peeling off the walls, it was just not very nice to stay in. As it was for just one night and we would struggle to find another vacancy we decided to stay anyway but at about 12:50pm we decided to leave and head back home. The door of the room did not feel safe to us and we jumped up feeling that someone was trying to enter our room, which upset our son and unsettled us. It was in fairness probably someone from the neighbouring room getting the wrong door but because of how unsafe the room felt we decided it was best to travel home. The owner was very nice and welcoming so we did feel bad complaining to him so we just thought it was best to go home. If you are travelling without children and are looking for something basic and cheap then am sure this hotel would be fine but at the moment it is not suitable at all for children.
Wasnt expecting much for the price and thought of it as a place to get our heads down. Upon arriving, the outside had been freshly painted and looked inviting. When you walk through that door though the smell hits you like a smack in the chops. It smelt like damp and stale cigarettes. Wallpaper ripped off the walls and the carpet was all worn out with holes. The owner was pleasant and we did feel for him starting up his new business so didnt like to walk out straight away.
We were led right to the top 3rd floor to our family room. Oh dear......... The blinds were broken and had to stand on the beds to manually roll/unroll them, the wallpaper was damp and peeling off, no plug in sink, god knows what was on the ceiling but not pleasant, filthy floor, and generally filthy full stop. I had to stop myself from crying whilst I frantically looked up other b&bs with vacancies. Unfortunately failed and had to stay.
A plus is that its on a quiet road, with a car park a short walk away.
Im sorry to have to say but I dont think it should be open, it needs another 6 months or so to gut the place and redecorate and to invest some money into it. Its a health hazard.

Basic but just the job for travellers on a budget
Basic room with just double bed, sink, tv with freeview. Shower room with toilet and seperate toilet available to share which we didn't mind doing. Friendly staff - Thomas let us into our room half an hour early. Don't forget to bring towel and toiletries as they are not provided in the room. Don't expect any frills. You get what you pay for. Its a clean basic room! We really enjoyed our stay!
