Great reception from the lady who checked us in, really friendly and efficient. Our room was a good size for 2 adults and a child, we had a double bed and a single. Toilet, sink and shower and small flat screen tv in the room as well as a kettle and tea and coffee making items. Plenty of towels and toilet roll, shower gel and shampoo in the shower. Beds were clean and comfy, wardrobe with hangers was great and plenty of plug sockets available in the room.
The only negatives were the door lock was temperamental and took some fiddling with to lock and unlock. Could have been a bit cleaner but we’ve stayed in much worse b&bs in Blackpool, all in all for £50ish per night you don’t get perfection and modern luxury but this is a nice hotel for the price and we’d stay there again.
Guests abit noisy in night but what you expect in Blackpool. Owner very welcoming, good communication via phone, very accommodating. Rooms were tidy, comfy beds, clean bedding, bathroom small but functional. Enjoyed our stay.

Holiday for grandson
It was good but no cover sheet on bed only a red one to cover yourself up not much room to move about and wasn’t the room I seen on the website
Our family of 2 adults and 1 child stayed for 2 nights during October half-term. The onsite staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The hotel is in need of refurb due to a roof issue which has closed the kitchen and bar. Slightly disappointed the bar was still advertised but not open. The room was perfect for our needs. We were disturbed one night by other guests behaviour but this was not down to the hotel. In conclusion, the hotel was great for what we needed - just a base to explore Blackpool
Not a bad little place to stay for a night or two. We stayed overnight as we were going to the fireworks with our daughter (6). We arrived at 4pm and was greeted by a friendly man (not sure if the owner or just someone who worked there). Just be mindful that when you book in, you're asked for a £20 deposit and ID. Luckily, I had my passport on me (don't always have it with me, and as I don't drive I don't have a driving license or anything). Website didn't mention anything about bringing ID or that you needed to pay a deposit. Went up to our room, it was nice enough and clean. Only issue we had was that there was a TV in there but when we switched on it was asking us to retune it to get channels, we did but it didn't pick any up so not sure if there is an aerial or not. Nothing major though, as we just spent an hour or so in the room before we went out. No other issues with the hotel itself, surrounding hotels were noisy though so just be aware (obviously the owners can't really control neighbouring hotels or people outside at night). My partner was woken up during the night due to noise, but the sea air had knocked me out so I didn't hear a thing lol. Bed's weren't very comfortable, but for a night (or 2) it really wasn't an issue - we literally booked this as a base, somewhere to lay our heads for the night. No issues checking out, and received our £20 deposit immediately. Overall, a good place to stay and we will definitely return.
Its was not good…when i saw pictures i thought it was good but when i reached there it was like expectations vs reality.Rooms are not cleaned properly, there was no tea, sugar there was only dust.Even dish was unwashed seems like previous guest have used that.
Rooms full of mold, damp, fruit or drain flies, never been cleaned behind beds, pillows stained, curtains yellow, mushroom growing from bathroom floor, bin not emptied still had previous guest’s sanatry towels, no heating, electric lighting hanging off the ceilings and walls, light switches loose, wall paper is hanging off the ceiling covering a huge hole from water damage, this place shouldn’t be open! Cups dirty, kettle filthy, water pipes for the shower cut off hanging freely, photos advertised for this hotel do not MATCH the condition of the hotel FALSE ADVERISEMENT. Trading standards needs to visit this place and shut it down before someone becomes critically ill.
The room was average priced and served its purpose for one night, but was quite run down and mould spores were present here and there, especially on the net curtains.

nice room. comfy beds.clean liked the staff. and had shampoo in shower. brillant location near town. did not like not knowing there was a £20 charge for keys. but got it back no problem.
The location was good
but There were two showers in same cubicle but only one was connected it was a eye sore
There were some debris in room which was easily visible if checked n cleaned properly
There was no staff at reception whenever we were in need.we spent 2 nights without electricity there.Wifi was totally disgusting and the password and id shared was also invalid.Bedsheets were dirty and having hairs.so much noise wasthere in surrounding areas we couldn't sleep.

Poor Hotel
The hotel is in a good location, that's the only positive.
The rooms are in a poor state of disrepair. The wall paper is peeling, there's electrics hanging out everywhere, and the showers are incredibly small.
The UHT milk was a year out of date in the room.
When we left there was nobody to check out with. When we checked in we were told it was a good job we arrived early as there wouldn't be anyone there post-4pm. This was not an issue, but had arrived later it would have been. It would have been nice to have been communicated this in advance.
We ran out of toilet paper and there was nobody to ask for any more in the morning. This was at 9am so I would have expected someone to be around, and there was still nobody around when we checked out so we had to post the keys through the door.
Wasn't expecting the Ritz at this price, but was still very disappointed.
Paid for a family room, suppose to have 1 double and 1 single bed.
Got 1 double bed in a small room.
The noise outside was all night, drunkards and yobs shouting.
Slept ontop of bed as it looked manky.
Only stayed as it was a family emergency.
Would not recommend anything at all.
No good points...sorry just honest.
It was like a rabbit hutch.
Disappointed. Mould to corner of room wallpaper lifting. Hall and stairs smelled musty and damp. Shower unusable dirty unit and showerhead covered in black mould. Room very cramped, single put up bed covered drawers and wardrobe. Not very welcoming outdoors or lounge area (looks unused and hookah pipes decorate windowsill). Outside wee garden area old beer cans and cigarette stubs.
Where to start, we only paid £45 so we didnt have high expectations but wow, this disappointed us beyond belief. Our room was loacted through the staff only door, through the kitchen, into a small garage type extension, which had two rooms and a shared bathroom! The room can only be described as a grandchilds spare room from 20 years ago, with a randomly added, bladly DIY bath and the reminants of a shower. Totally unusable due the state and the lack of cleanliness. The shared bathroom even had what looked like the grandchilds toothbrush and razors still in situ. There was even still old clothes left in wardrobes. The 'bath' towels provided were inadequate as they were so small. We have stayed in nicer student uni accommodation. Especially as the room smelt like musty and of smoke, YUK.
The room was not what was advertised on hotels.com. NEVER AGAIN.
After waiting around 10 minutes in reception for a member of staff to check us in, we must say the staff were very friendly.

Stay
I booked a queen bed and received a very small double the room was to small hardly could walk in there and the window wouldn’t open, however after speaking to one of the workers there she moved us to a different room which was a double bed and a single the room was still small and the beds were so uncomfortable however the window could open so that was good, there was people coming into the hotel about 10/11 at night and was making loads of noice, and could smell they bring food into the hotel. the showers was really cold and the toilet was hard to flush so me and my partner is was very disappointed the only good thing was that the attractions was only a 10 minute walk, the hotel is very old fashioned
