"The view was beautiful, the room clean, the staff pleasant and the kitchen well stocked with pots and pans. Overall, it was fine. Why only ok? The stove took forever to heat to high and took over a half hour to get a pot of water to boiling. Also - I felt badly for the Parrots. They were clearly well cared for and looking healthy with clean cages. However they seemed stressed in their little cages in the evenings especially, with one screaming quite loudly before being covered for the night. I'm not sure it's the best environment for them with so many strangers including loud children coming through. "

"People who just need beach access this is perfect hotel as right on boardwalk. But other than rooms dont expect anything from hotel. Front staff at checkin was rude.. rooms are basic with very small bathroom. Nothing to do at hotel, not even a decent lobby space where u can sit , lobby was there but small. Only and only for summer. We went in April and was not worth the visit. "

"Nice place to stay. The room was clean and the location was perfect for us. The breakfast is okay, not great. There was an additional $15 a night for some reason, which was not expected or appreciated."

"Not a bad place but, as far as the amenities they advertise, Bar and restaurant were not open. None of the vending machines worked (went on every floor). Room was clean but, it was hard to look at the ocean because the windows were filled with condensation. I’m assuming a broken seal. Would probably stay again but, would make sure I would bring snacks & drinks."

"Vinyl floors in room, sitting chair only for 1 person in room. Hot and cold water is reversed in kitchen sink and the hot water scolding hot. No privacy on balconies. Coffee from Deli expensive and bad tasting. Very nice ocean views. Clean room but gets sandy very fast would be nice to have a swiffer in room.. One of the mattresses was worn out. The hotel shows its age. "

"Our room’s bathroom sink and toilet were like something out of an elementary school. View was nice. The best thing about our stay was the restaurant/bar. Food and drinks were great and the staff was the best."
