"It was great! But like most hotels the fees for everything are insane! Parking is 42 a day which is crazy. But it’s a nice hotel!"

"We booked this room for a couples weekend. Room & bathroom were spacious & clean. However, our room was next to the bar and it was very loud. And, we found the bath towels to be very small - which isn’t a huge deal but a bummer still. We needed the front desk a couple times and had a hard time catching anyone to help us. Honestly we probably won’t go back. For a couples trip we felt it didn’t quite meet our expectations. "

"I was expecting a high end hotel for what I get, small room Bad views, not privacy because i could hear my neighbors room and conversation For the room price I think it was one of my worst experiences in this hotel Couldn’t sleep. Shower too small with no door and water gets out To the mini tiny sink area No water the last stay and they didn’t even apologize for that "

"There is literally not a better location than La Jolla Cove suites. We had an ocean view room with a balcony and the room was very spacious and clean. It was not outdated as some other reviews stated. We could see hundreds of sea lions from our balcony and its literally a 1 min walk to be on the beach area where they all congregate. The hotel is under major renovation but the noise really did not bother us. There are literally weddings every night on the rooftop area but the noise ends at 10 pm. The only negative was that there are very little amenities.The pool area is nice but there is no food or beverage served there. There is a great breakfast/lunch place in the hotel but if you want any alcohol served to you, you have to leave the hotel. No bar at all. There is valet parking and it is well worth the $45 a day bc you will never find a parking space near the hotel bc it is the most popular place in the cove. If you dont mind a bustling part of town this is the place for you. The sunsets are amazing here. "

"Beautiful hotel and great amenities! The pool and family areas are very clean and offer fun activities( Corn hole game, table tennis, giant connect and chess game) . It is very close to La Jolla cove and beaches. Good restaurants in the area. We stayed one night and will definitely come back. "
