Holiday Inn Express Klamath - Redwood Ntl Pk Area by IHG

Holiday Inn Express Klamath - Redwood Ntl Pk Area by IHG

10/10 Excellent
"I love that it was just 9 mins up north from Tree of Mystery. It was right off 101 which was very convenient. We got a double queen room. The beds were soft and comfortable. The room was clean. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. We got scrambled eggs, bacon, season skillet potatoes, cereal, cinnamon buns, muffins, bagels, milk, and soy milk. The only downfall is there were no fruits. I wish there were some fresh fruit."

"The rooms are dated but very clean. The breakfast is ok with strawberry flavored waffle mix which is delicious. Coffee is good too. Bring your own creamer. Only milk is offered. Muffins, toast, yogurt. No fruit but its ok. Parking is adequate. Thought it would be real noisy because its on the main hwy but i was pleasantly surprised. The a/c was great and the fan is soothing enough to block out other noise. Would stay here again"

Oceanfront Lodge

Oceanfront Lodge

8/10 Good
"It's clear that this is a dated hotel. At check in, I was told that the pool and hot tub and sauna were open daily until midnight. I was actually quite excited because I rarely get to hotel pools due to their hours. When we went down, there was a pump in the pool, the shower was closed, and the jets on the hot tub did not work. So I put my feet in for a few minutes (it was heated) then we left, only to find a sign on the door that said "Sorry, pool is closed" that wasn't easily visible. I'm shocked that my room key worked for a "closed" area and I'm especially unhappy that it was communicated that it was actually open when it wasn't. Also the housekeeping staff allowed the doors to slam shut every time they entered and exited the rooms and because of the age/layout it shook our room and was incredibly annoying when we were trying to sleep late after a very long drive. Now for the redeeming features. The view! The food and drinks at the restaurant and the wait staff were awesome! Parking is super easy, and it was definitely kept clean."
