"The Settles is a beautiful old hotel and the premier structure in Big Springs. It has been totally remodeled and restored to its former glory. Unfortunately, there’s not much else in Big Springs, though there is so much potential in this town. The hotel has a restaurant which is okay, though there’s not much else to choose from in the town itself. The rooms and especially the beds are awesome. It is not cheap to stay in this hotel, but the beds make it worth it."

"This was the perfect stop for our trip from El Paso to Dallas. A great easy stop, right on I20. Room on first floor was good to walk our dogs. Very dog friendly! Excellent breakfast! Clean room, fridge came in handy. Will stay here again!"

"King room we reserved, was located on the 5th flr. Ok, but the elevator was non-operational. I walk with a cane, 2 bags, no way. The hotel accommodated us by providing a handicap room w/2 double beds. Breakfast was good and we left happy. "
