"Visable damp on the bathroom wall by the shower and a very strong smell of damp in the downstairs area including bedrooms. The owner tried to disguise the smell with air fresheners and by leaving the windows open but the smell of damp was still immediately apparent on entry. Had we been staying longer than 2 nights and not arrived so late in the evening on the first night we would have left. "Everything from arrival to check out was brilliant, the staff are amazing, the spa was so relaxing as were the treatments, room was gorgeous and spotlessly clean and hot tub on the balcony was awesome, bar areas and service were fantastic and visit to Mizumi restaurant is recommended, location is fabulous - overall we had a great stay and will be visiting again "

"Staff were really friendly. Hotel and grounds were beautiful. Rooms were spotless. They also left a teddy on my daughters bed, which was lovely.the only 2 downsides were the WiFi (room 20) wasn’t reliable, this is fine if you don’t need the internet but if you intend to use it was a bit of pain because there was no mobile signal either. I like that it is a dog friendly hotel, however we had a dog barking most of the night at the hotel."
