"Staff was very helpful, polite (giving elevator priority to guests, replacing linens, etc.). Breakfast okay, yogurt dispenser a little odd, over sweet product. Small kitchenette counter in room was useful. Lightbulbs in rooms somewhat dim if drapes are closed . Very close and walkable to Doheney State Beach"

"I had a truly marvelous weekend at Montage Laguna Beach. From the moment I arrived, everything was exceptional; the beautiful grounds, immaculate property, wonderful staff, and outstanding restaurants. The entire resort has a feeling of elegance and tranquility that makes it very easy to relax and enjoy every moment. One of the highlights was dinner at Studio. The meal was amazing, but what made the evening especially memorable was the setting. Sitting there at sunset with an unobstructed view of the sun going down over the Pacific was absolutely spectacular. It was one of those experiences that stays with you. The Montage is a truly special resort, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional Southern California getaway. I had a wonderful stay and very much look forward to returning."

"Location is very good. The hotel is a bit outdated and may need some renovations soon. Breakfast was really good and the waiters were very kind and friendly. Parking is about $40. We will probably stay here again only because the location is great!"
