"Lorena and Dan were so friendly and helpful. The property is set up on a hill with gorgeous views of Saint Ives. I received a free upgrade and the room was spectacular. Highly recommend. Short walk into town for good restaurants and shopping."

"We were apprehensive after reading previous reviews, however we were positively surprised. Our family room was large and spacious and the beds very comfortable. The deco is dated but everything was clean, the staff lovely and what a view!!

"We loved Carbis Bay best - the best beach. Very steep exciting walk to the beach or you can drive. Great local eateries, parking included and great base. Would love to return. "

"We had a very peaceful stay. The property was clean, safe, and well maintained. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a thoughtful goody bag filled with local treats and a few essentials, which was a lovely gesture from the host. The nearby local train station is a huge plus as for just £1.10, you can get to St Ives in under 5 minutes. Highly recommend!"

"The property was small but ok for 2 adults & a pet ... It was clean & modern ... I asked a couple of questions but got no reply ... it was advertised on expedia as having parking which was the main reason we booked it but there is no room anywhere near the property to park which i feel is false advertisising ...other than this we enjoyed our stay in Beautiful St Ives ....

"Great location but be prepared for the climb back up the hill from town! The parking involved a bit of shuffling but it was easy enough and superb to have an EV charger. We had the smallest room which doesn’t have a seaview but we knew that before coming and the room was lovely and cosy, with plush carpets, linen and towels. I wasn't sure what it'd be like without a staffed reception but it was easy to get hold of someone if you needed anything."

"Great location and kitchen access was a plus for breakfast options. For the solo budget traveler without a car, there is no luggage storage, so be prepared to time your check in for the exact time with a key code access. if the company gave access to the lounge area only, this would be a plus."
"We stayed in the studio suite, it was clean, comfortable and well furnished. Great shower and comfortable bed. Good information provided about easiest walk down to into town. Easy check in and done basics provided for breakfast together with a bowl of fruit. Both much appreciated. We didn’t have a view but that didn’t spoil anything.
The one improvement I would suggest and it’s only a small thing, would be to have a motion sensor nightlight in the socket near the bathroom, the two steps to the bathroom are not easy to climb safely in you need to use bathroom in the dark. Turning light on wakes partner "
"Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were excellant, super selection of food service was above and beyond, I cant thank the hotel enough. I am a single female traveller,I felt extremly welcome. . "
