"Staff were very good and friendly with our baby. Good range for breakfast. Room was a bit grubby with hairs in bath, mucky window sills, and a stained bed throw. Very noisy until 11pm due to a wedding in the venue. "

"The room we had was dated but clean apart from some mould around the windows. There was a bit of a funny smell but it wasn’t overbearing. The pool was good and open late which was ideal. The steam room wasn’t working when we stayed but the sauna was nice and clean! The hotel was otherwise modern and and there was a nice bar/resturant. We didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment. The hotel location was perfect if you want to go into York (the shambles etc) it was a five min drive and the parking was easy to find albeit pricey! There was bus stops near the hotel if you’re good with public transport or you could easily get an uber if needed! Overall good stay. "

"Overall a bit disappointing. Upon arrival the car park entry and exit system was not working which caused issues. There were queues to check in. The room we had was always cold, with a broken unusable safe and a bed which had a large spring coming through the mattress. There was quite a bit of noise from weekend revellers outside which was loud even though we were on the fourth floor. The breakfast was okay but the cooked breakfast had no mushrooms. There were issues again upon departure with the car park exit barrier. I have stayed at Radisson hotels before and so my experience at the hotel in York was not how I had expected it to be. If staying in York again I would look for an alternative hotel."

"We upgraded at reception to a suite and had a nice sized room. Clean but maybe a little dated now. The bed was very comfy though and very quiet. Everything we needed in the room as well. The staff were brilliant and looked after bags etc before and after check in. A really nice stay for our Stendo weekend. Thank you. "

"Clean modern room. Decent size. Breakfast was average.... average quality products, powdered eggs. Parking is the only issue. 5 minute walk and not cheap at £28 overnight. Not the hotels fault for that but youd think in this modern era they'd negotiate a better rate."

"The hotel was in an excellent position for walking into York. The reception spacious and a nice place to sit and look at the river The croissants were large, fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, the reception coffee machine broke but they did provide decent coffee in a flask dispenser. The whole hotel was very clean. The studio bedroom was spacious and had everything you would need. The showers were excellent. All staff were friendly. The only things I would have like were a pair of scissors, a coffee table and a step stool to reach the top of the cupboards!! I would defiantly recommend this hotel. "
