The room we stayed in was massive, that's for sure. To be honest, we probably even needed that much space. It had an amazing view from the 53rd floor on the river that was spectacular at sunrise and at sunset (we were able to see both!). Staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and comfortable, and nothing lacked with amenities.
It's an excellent stay, but please be mindful of the below:
- The elevators are a bit of a disaster. Spent quite a bit of time just waiting for the elevators.
- Most of the restaurants require a dress-code. Probably no problem if you're willing to shill out the exorbitant prices they charge for your food, but it's not for us.
- Not sure if this was just staff being friendly, or if it is on purpose, but every time we ventured to the crossing outside we'd run into hotel staff who would ask where we're heading, and then advise us about how to go about it (incl. fixing the price already, which we ended up doing once and over paying by 10-fold).
