Charming! The Manager and the staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast at the balcony with the view of the river and the Aurum Temple was an unexpected bonus.

The Aurum was the perfect lowkey spot along the river to relax in Bangkok. It is quiet and clean and provides a perfect respite near the temples to escape the heat. It is within walking distance to Wat Pho and to the MRT subway line to get around town and to Chatuchat Weekend Market. Pan, the lovely hostess, saw that I was a woman traveling alone and looked after me with a watchful eye. Breakfast was included and served at outside tables along the river with a beautiful view of Wat Arun. They also arranged a taxi to the airport. Will definitely stay here again!

Excellent hotel and staff especially Pan who went out of her way to help with whatever we needed. It is very convenient to the attractions including sunset view of Wat Arun. The location of the breakfast cafe on the river is beautiful and very serene in the morning. You cannot see Wat Arun from hotel as most of the view is blocked by another building in front. You can see it from cafe.

We were so happy we chose Aurum The River Place for our stay in Bangkok. The location in Old Town was perfect! Wat Arun is located directly across the river and accessible via a very inexpensive ferry ride. Once at Wat Arun you can catch a hop-on/hop-off ferry to many other stops (Chinatown, IconSiam mall, et cetera). The Grand Palace and Wat Pho (reclining buddha) are also within walking distance of Aurum The River Palace. Lots of great food choices nearby. The included breakfast was excellent and served by Pan and her team at an adjacent riverside cafe every morning. This was a great choice for our first stop in Thailand! Highly recommend.

This place is a gem! Perfect for walking to the must sees of Bangkok. Beautiful colonial type building. But the real treasure is with the wonderful staff. One lovely lady in particular took care of us as my mother would have. Highly recommend!

Great Stay
We had a wonderful stay at Aurum The River Place. From the moment you walk in you are made to feel at home. Pam and her ladies are amazing. They provide the best customer service. Pam is always available to answer any and all questions and provides helpful information. The rooms are kept very clean. The breakfast is delicious. Our room was spacious and quiet. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We had a great view from our balcony. Great showers. The hotel is centrally located. It is walking distance to many tourist attractions, delicious restaurants, ferry, even a running track for exercising. We would definitely stay here again and again.

What a good experience with this hotel,clean, comfortable, by the River, good view, very close to the tourist spot ,very beautiful little restaurant by the water to breakfast every morning, bed and pillow is soooo comfy esp I have a neck problem but pillow is sooo good, slept well, very quiet and it is the gem here. Couple good restaurants by the river in the area, very delicious food. Very close to SkyTrain station, about 7 mins walk from hotel. We feel welcome, supported, and well taken care by Pam, love her so much, she has a warm heart and lovely smile every time we see her, the whole team work so hard with great warm smile all the time. Overall no complain at all, all we want to say is we will come back sgain
