I am a retired airline pilot and have stayed in many 5 star hotels worldwide and have stayed in several in Dhaka. I much prefer to stay in small hotels with good facilities and staff. The Royal Park Residence is an excellent place to stay. In a pleasant quiet area of Dhaka close to Gulshan. Our room was clean and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. Excellent in all respects- I have experience of different premium quality hotels in Dhaka and Platinum Grand was far superior. Staff were courteous and helpful in every respect - quality of hotel decor and fittings was very good. Excellent comfortable room, and food was well produced from varied menu. Rooftop pool was very pleasant and clean. Excellent value for money.

Hotel is not bad for the price. Did not get a chance to try out the food but is located near Banani Road 11, which has KFC, Nando's, Burger King and Pizza Hut and also others. Staff are helpful. Room was clean. Could've done with a mini safe inside the room

My stay at this hotel from the check in experience to leaving the hotel using their transport service was excellent. The facilities are fantastic and each and every member of staff I came across including the restaurant staff were amazing.

We stayed 7 nights and we felt that we were staying in our own home. Very smooth check-in, friendly and welcoming hotel staff. Modern decoration with specious and clean apartment. Quiet and safe location. Every single hotel staff are very professional, from Security staff to Room Service staff. Dining room staff are amazing, very friendly and always smile on their face. I strongly recommend this hotel. It is a new hotel and the people working there are amazing. Especially Debraj and the manager Akin. I felt at home surrounded by wonderful people working there who are willing to help you in getting around, finding a car for you and more. I am leaving behind friends. Try the hotel and you will be best serve. I will miss everybody there for sure.

If you looking for easy access to Old Dhaka or want to see other part of Dhaka city, I think Grand Place Hotel & resort should be best choice. Reasonable prices and all other facilities in one roof.I think all in one. Including breakfast was the best part of the hotel. Sorry to mention rooftop swimming fool & all hotel staff are great.
