4/5 - Good
In some ways unexpected, on the positive side

Unique features of Baku Old City include the historical sites and restaurants. Make a stop by Maiden's Tower or Palace of the Shirvan Shahs while you're exploring the area.

If you're spending some time in Sabayil, Baku Crystal Hall and Caspian Sea are top sights worth seeing.

While visiting Khatai, you might make a stop by sights like Nizami Street and Caspian Sea.

While Yasamal may not have many sights to explore, venturing just a little farther will lead you to top things to see and do like Baku Mall and Fountain Square.

If you're looking for some top things to see and do in Bayil and surrounding area, you can visit Flame Towers and Azerbaijan Carpet Museum.

While there might not be top attractions in White City, you can explore the larger area and discover places like Haydar Aliyev Cultural Center and Port Baku Mall.

Good and clean.

I am from Canada. This is the best hotel we stayed in south Caucasus countries even though other hotels we stayed are all 5-star hotel while this is a 4-star hotel. But this hotel beats other two 5-star hotels we stayed in South Caucasus, Bugattis, Romania and Moldova. I would think this 4-star hotel ...

Bed smelled like urine, blankets were not changed for the entire stay, and one of the 2 bathrooms was unusable, it was leaking. We told staff the next morning and he said they will take care of it tomorrow…tomorrow never came!! The only thing nice about the stay was the cleaning staff, they were ...

Apartments are fantastic, spotlessly clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. apartments are outside the city by about 15 mins but there is a free shuttle several times a day or taxis are cheap and the service bus which stops outside is even cheaper. I would recommend a visit and loved Baku.

Enjoyed my visit to the Hairy Lemon bar near Fountain Square. Irish bars DO NOT serve Draught Guinness on tap only in cans at inflated prices. Best sticking to local beers such as EFES.
Really impressed by Baku. People respectful to each other and to visitors. Great architecture. Good and cheap Metro system. Good community atmosphere with many families enjoying communal areas in the evenings. (People drive VERY fast in this city!)
What a lovely City. So Clean and a good blend of Modern and Old Buildings. Would describe it as "Where East meets West". Better than Dubai. One thing that should be more evident is the Pricing. At least twice there was an attempt to rip us off.
Baku is a very nice country with nice people, safe and warm , parks, restaurants, fun to do and walk and shops , easy transportation , bus cabs, taxi, bolt, affordable, thank you
Baku is a vibrant, exciting and safe city to visit for foreigners. English is widely spoken across tourist locations, hotels and the main airport. Baku is also extremely tolerant and flexible to a variety of cultures.
