"My 2nd time staying at an AKA hotel. First time I stayed at AKA Boston common. Love the atmosphere. Bar service was excellent. We arrived at 8pm-ish and the restaurant was closed but bar was open. Very friendly service, and food was very good. "

"I am originally from Boston and was back for a week-long visit. We stayed in a studio with a king-sized bed, small kitchenette and sitting area. I was really impressed with the level of service here. The front desk was helpful and responsive -- both by phone and text. The room was clean, the furniture is comfortable and utilitarian, similar to a dorm room. The neighborhood is classic Back Bay, very walkable and safe with a lot of interesting things to do and the Prudential T stop about a block away. I had a car for part of my stay and was able to park right behind my building, which was really convenient. The only real downside was the bathroom, which was super small -- about on par with hotel bathrooms in midtown Manhattan. I'm not a big person and both of my elbows were bumping either the wall or the edge of the shower stall when I was brushing my teeth. But in the grand scheme of things, that's pretty minor. Staying in a brownstone means stairs/walking so be aware if anyone in your party has mobility challenges. Will definitely look to stay here again."

"Lovely rooms just horrible layout with having to walk through the restaurant to get to the stuffy hallway to the room. The signs were not helpful to point us in the needed direction and Malik just stated to go to the elevators behind the wall. Dont use this hyatt if you need to use the shuttle service as it only has "three stops" that it makes"

"This is THE place to stay in Boston, the area is close to everything, the staff at the front desk and the restaurant Joia were beyond efficient and friendly, and although they didn't offer room service, they were more than accommodating to provide water, etc. for the room on the way up to to the room...thank you Kareena and all of you for a wonderful memory and experience. I will recommend to anyone who is visiting the area. Thank you thank you, Ezra and Annie"
