"The Ramses was a great hotel but if you want to just go for a walk outside your hotel. The Ramses is on a busy main freeway and you can cross the street but if you have never been in Cairo. They have a saying in Cairo... if you want to cross the street... take a taxi... theere areno cross walks. People just cross infront of the traffic . Crazy traffic in Cairo. "

"This hotel was exceptional. Everything was clean and new. The staff was very friendly and attentive but also gave us space to relax. The only downside is the pool closing at dark but it seemed to be that way through-out Cairo so maybe it's a law? "

"The room was clean, the water pressure was excellent, the staff was kind and attentive especially with laundry. We stayed for 2 weeks and never once had an issue, in fact this hotel was our home base as we explored all over Egypt. I will be staying at the Swiss Inn Nile again when I return to Cairo."
