"I stay 4 times a year for work, nice and convenient hotel for me. The rooms are nice, could do with more attention to detail in cleaning, found a champagne cork beside the curtains and loads of dust… the room I was in had the air conditioner below the window which is pointless as when you shut the curtains to sleep the air doesn’t come into the room."

"Nice welcome on arrival, quick and easy check-in . The hotel has a decent bar and restaurant and is located in city surrounded by different bars and restaurants. Overall a comfortable stay."

"We really enjoyed the hotel building, history and facilities. Staff excellent and ambiance great. Very relaxing environment with super spacious traditional room in clock tower. Breakfast excellent with prompt and attentive service. Walks around the grounds very enjoyable. Spa faciltiies looked good but not enough time on this occasion. Will return."
