"Despite a band playing I was able to get an early night's sleep. The room was a classic old hotel room,high ceilings,excellent space ,only a bed and bedside table. Locks were modern and secure. The name suggests the hotel would be on the waterfront but it is on a trading estate off the esplanade. It is next door to the swimming pool and fitness centre and wasnt easy to find. You have to pass the hotel and turn in to a service road to come back down the hill. There is a bottle shop next door as well as an adjoining bistro where the food was very good and not too expensive. There was a problem with wifi on the first day but it was sorted by the morning.
