"Amazing people, great location, place is brand new. Jacuzzi and rooftop terrace is lovely. Maria is awesome!
If it is full or close to full, it can be 20 people sharing 2 showers. Downstairs private suite shares bathroom with men’s dorm and is adjacent to smoking area, which is not ideal. Doorbell rings many times through the night. Just things to know. Uber is $50euro from airport. "

Wonderful breakfast, kind staff and great view of the Acropolis. The staff were very thoughtful and gave us a take-away breakfast when we had an early check-out.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience here was. My adult son has restricted mobility and the staff were so helpful. From reserving a parking spot in front which is not usually possible to helping us in and out of the hotel every time. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is great for all the central sites via a pedestrian walkway to the Acropolis etc. 20 minute walk with wheelchair. Our room with a view over the Temple of Zeus was lovely. I got a private room to myself and it was really big and spacious, especially with the bathroom. However, the water from the shower goes everywhere and doesn’t drain well. If you leave it overnight it mostly does.
I liked the retro arcades available and is within walking distance of plaka and pysri which are the main hubs. There is a bbq place opposite which is cheap and good food if you need something to eat.
They came to clean the rooms but not sure what they did as the towels were not...

Fantastic find. We had everything we needed for our stay with our 14 year old son. We had reservations about the area and the walk into the centre of Athens but we shouldn't have worried. The walk through the park to the historical centre is a lovely way to start/end the day. If you don't fancy the walk, why leave the area. Definitely stay close to the residence for dinner and/or an evening drink. It's much cheaper than the centre, and the food and drink options are so much better.
Big shout...

This is, without a doubt, one of the loveliest hotels I have ever stayed in. Completely refurbished, first impressions are good as you enter a beautiful tiled hallway. The staff were kind, considerate and welcoming. The genuinely wanted you to have the best stay possible. The decoration is stunning, with each floor opening out to co-ordinating tiles and paintwork. We were in a twin room, which was lovely. The quality of the furniture and bedding was high, and the bathroom was stunning! Loved the...

Baloo Hostel is great, fantastic hostel and lovely staff. The beds are fine and facilities good. The area is not nice, with alot of drug use all over, and on the doorstep.

First time traveling alone and this hostel really helped make it more comfortable. Plenty of people to talk to and walk around with, comfortable and clean spaces to sleep and store luggage, and all the staff was incredibly helpful.

Staff at Mosaikon hostel were very welcoming and helpful, they allowed me to store my luggage at the hostel a few days in advance whilst I traveled out of Athens. They were also really welcoming and gave me lots of suggestions of what to do / where to eat.
The hostel is modern and very clean, however, I was in my dorm when housekeeping came. I noticed she did not replace the sheets of the people that had checked out and just tucked them in and folded the blanket provided.

We stayed one night either end of a trip to the Cyclades, and this was the perfect base for a flying visit to Athens both times. In a great location close to Parthenon by metro and in walking distance of the restaurants we wanted to visit. Also staff were efficient and helpful, room was immaculate and exactly as advertised - functional and air conditioned!

We stayed in a family room with 5 beds and found it very spacious and clean. It had hanging space and air conditioning and the shower and toilet facilities were just opposite the room. We never had to wait to use the bathroom facilities. The place felt quiet and well looked after. Any questions I had before my stay were responded to quickly. Overall we were very impressed and found the location great. Breakfast was adequate too so for a reasonably priced stay in Athens this is an excellent...

They are all amazing in every way!
A dream team always helpful and friendly. As a hostel and good value of money, I didn't have high expectations. Believe it or not, I have been around the UK in many hotels with 3-5 stars but didn't find this excellent customer service or so clean and tidy room every single day.
The hostel is literally in the heart of the city centre within 5 min walk for Plaka. With the train and underground 3 min walk from the hostel, you can explore Athens and many places.

We stayed just for the one night before our flight home but it was a lovely stay. Very clean & comfortable; the host was there to meet us & was very friendly. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area
