"This property is the neglected cousin of the millennium hotel next door. The rooms are old and cramped, the walls are thin, access to the rooms from the beach was often locked. We hated cooking in the kitchenette area. Going next door to Millennium was a nice perk but given how many options there were in Taupo, I would skip this one. "

A useful feature of the hotel was the elevator that took you down to the level of the street below the hotel, which was several floors down! The bar had a good selection."
