A bit of a way from the town so the shuttle bus is really useful and the tourist information at the ferry terminal is more than happy to call for you if the bus isn’t waiting. The staff were all very welcoming and the public bath, dinner and breakfast were all very Japanese and very good indeed. I would definitely recommend this ryokan. "

"I wasn’t sure about booking this hotel. But it was FANTASTIC! Huge king size bed. But it took up most of the room. Slept great. Rooms were well insulated and couldn’t hear any hall noise or neighbors. Recommend to bring small luggage (or you can store your large bag downstairs). We had backpacks (left our big bags in Tokyo) so we were perfect. Nice happy hour. Extraordinary breakfast bar with MANY selections! Fantastic small restaurant down back door alley for traditional Hiroshima cabbage...
