"The Knot was a great experience for us. It was a combination of family and friends. The tokens to exchange for a drink at the bar was a surprising but welcomed gesture after a long hot train ride. Rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel staff were kind and courteous. I highly recommend stayin at this hotel especially if your main purpose is to visit the peace park and visit Miyajima island. Easy access from the park but a long ride back after on the tram. "

"The apartment was spacious and well laid out, with a separate kitchen, washroom, and a large bathroom featuring a jacuzzi tub big enough for two. The balcony had a great city view, complete with a pop-up table, chairs, and even a ping pong table which was a fun bonus. One night, we even caught a firework show from there. There is also Netflix and Hulu on the TV which we loved. The beds were firm and very comfortable, just how we like them. We felt relaxed and at home with all the amenities provided. It was only a 5-minute walk to Memorial Park, which was lovely. We really enjoyed being able to go there every day during our stay. The host was very quick to reply to any questions and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. As some reviews mentioned, there was a strong smell from the jacuzzi/shower room, but we managed it easily by keeping the door closed and airing it out with the window and fan. It didn’t bother us much since the place was otherwise clean, comfy, and enjoyable."

"This hotel is dated but well staffed and maintained. It's our second visit and we'll be back! Perfect location with beautiful views of the peace park and bomb dome. Easy access to public transportation."

"A gorgeous property, top notch and caring service, wonderful food and a beautiful onsen. This is a spectacular place for a stay on Miyajima. We arrived early and our bags were quickly stored. Check in was smooth. The room was large and had a beautiful view of the foliage on the mountainside and sound of the nearby creek. It was so quiet and peaceful! We had included dinner which was delicious as was breakfast. The onsen is magical. Everything about Iwaso was fantastic. Stay here for a traditional ryokan experience. Highly recommended!!"

"The views from our room were spectacular. The staff were very friendly. Lots of free amenities for the guests. The only draw back was that they did not have options for vegetarian. If you have specific dietary restrictions please let them know in advance so they can accommodate. When I booked the hotel there was no option for me to mention’s dietary restrictions. "

"We stayed in the room with the open air bath and it was a beautiful room. The open air bath was worth it with a view of the famous gate. The staff was amazing and so respectful. The location was close to the shrine and shops and not far from the rope pull to go to top of mountain. Highly recommend this hotel! "

"Extremely convenient location across from the JR Ferry terminal. The staff was so friendly and accommodating to our 2 year old. The room and bath were beautiful. Breakfast buffet was great and the free drinks/treats in the lobby were a nice addition"
