"Hotel Vista is a lovely quiet hotel 15-20 minutes walk from Hiroshima station. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Peace Park 15 minutes walk. Convenience store on first floor great for affordable meals and snacks. Bottled water in room daily. No coffee or tea provided in room but there is kettle and fridge. Convenience store has microwave to warm meals if needed. Room was our favorite with great soaker tub. "

"Wow! One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. We were on the last leg of our 12 day Japan tour and stayed here for two of those nights. Beautiful spacious room with a gorgeous view of the city. Also a large soaking tub really helped everyone relax after so much walking. This hotel is located right outside the doors of Hiroshima station so it couldn't be any more convenient. "Staff were so friendly and helpful, and explained things to us in English. The hotel is a bit dated but the room was one of the most functional I have stayed in. It was spacious, well partioned and had the things I needed. Dormy Inn provided a free jelly snack in the fridge, a nice personal touch. You can drink free lemonade in the lobby. At night there is free ramen from 930-1130. There is free Yakult type drink at the hot spring in the morning and free ice blocks at night. Highly recommend...
