"Beach was not relaxing. People brought loud PA systems onto beach and there was no control. "

"I was really looking forward to this vacation. The photos online looked like a dream but unfortunately when we arrived, it was a nightmare. The property was severely OUTDATED. The room was extremely overpriced for a very tiny space. The water pressure was horrible, for the shower and toilet. The room that was given to us was near the staircase and we heard nothing but the door slamming all night long. The bed was hard, not comfortable at all. Our room was never cleaned the whole entire stay. The hotel has a “free” happy hour for the guests but they only give you one free drink so please don’t call it a free happy hour. That was very misleading. The pool looked like something from the 70s. Nothing has been updated. The staff was nice at the front desk. But the overall experience was 3.3 out of 10. "

"Our family, a four really enjoyed our stay at Berkeley wave. The hotel was conveniently located on Collins a block from the beach and beach towels and chairs and umbrellas were included in our stay which was great. We ate at the restaurant one night and the food was very good. The pool was beautiful as it was on the roof. The kids loved it. The view from the balcony we had was really enjoyable as we had coffee out there every morning.The staff are very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. The only issue would be the shower leaks through the door a little bit, but it certainly not a reason to not come back. also, there’s a Miami Beach public parking garage right next-door, which is a great option for parking and one of the more affordable options as well."

"Overall, my hotel stay was truly wonderful. Throughout my stay, I felt comfortable and well taken care of. The atmosphere, cleanliness, and facilities of the hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff, in particular, were very attentive and genuinely focused on ensuring guests are happy—they were always friendly and helpful. I would just like to mention one small point: the replenishment of basic necessities (such as daily essentials) could be handled a bit more proactively rather than waiting for a request. A small improvement in this area would make the experience absolutely perfect. Other than that, I had a fantastic holiday. Many thanks to the entire team—I would happily recommend this hotel"

"The beach view from the first floor was limited. The room had some maintenance issues (the smoke detector and one of the blinds). The breakfast included was basic but ok. The room was beautiful and very spacious."

"Best part of the hotel is the location. Easy access to the beach right across the street. You still need to rent a chair not associated with the hotel when you get out there. We reserved the ocean view king suite so our room was fairly large with a nice view but our friends had at a tiny room facing another building. The hotel is old but renovated. Breakfast and pool are in a different building but we really didn't need either. Bed was comfortable."
