Had a lovely time at the Mencey. Staff absolutely lovely and so friendly, hotel both grand in its colonnaded porches and cool inner courtyard, and comfortable, with many places to have drinks and food in the shade and chill. Spa very well kitted out (extra €18 a day) breakfast spread faultless. Grilled Seafood served on the pool terrace is particularly good. Pool is great, using salt water instead of chlorine. Food in both terrace and main restaurant delicious. Only note of warning, they are...

Wonderful property well situated to explore the surrounding area!! Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. The rooms are stunning with every amenity available. Would highly recommend for holidays or business!!!

Beautiful new hotel in a great location to explore Santa Cruz, we will be back, great value for money

Lovely hotel and easy to get to public transport.

Based in a fabulous converted old house with an inner courtyard based in the centre of La Laguna within four minutes walk of the cathedral. We had originally booked Manila suite but, on reading reviews about noise (although apparently it has now been double glazed) and speaking with the property, we decided to upgrade to the Amaro Pargo suite, which was lovely and spacious and at the back of the property, with a large balcony overlooking the inner courtyard and beautiful glazed balcony...

Really comfortable, clan and modern room. Roof top pool and bar were amazing. Breakfast could do with adding baked beans, sausages and tomatoes.

We had a lovely few days staying in the hotel. The breakfast was lovely and the freshly squeezed orange juice a nice addition. The best tapas bars are near the Tower, the Venetian plus the tapas bar next door. Each place superb.

The room was very clean and perfectly adequate. Paula was fantastic!! I was soaked from the rain, on arrival, and she immediately got me a couple of towels to dry off. She showed me around, and on informing her that I would not be there for breakfast, she prepared me some food to take with me. There was no tv in the room, but all I wanted was to sleep, before the next part of my journey the following day, so I was ok with that. The other guests seemed respectful, as I was not disturbed all...

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff very helpful

We had a really lovely time staying at this hotel, staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Room was really nice, breakfast lovely, great shops and near restaurants. I would stay here again great hotel and location.

Well Maintained hotel with nice rooms and comfy beds. The shower attachment was a bit off, but I’d asked for a bath so I was fine as that was good. Nice pool area and good hotel buffet

We spent 16 nights at this hotel for our holiday. The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful- reception, restaurant staff, room cleaning. We were half board and enjoyed the dining when (on most days) it was the meal of the day- buffet was less impresasive. Limited choice (two of each course) but good ingredients prepared to restaurant standards; well presented with waiter service. We stayed half board but meal was also available for 12 Euros including wine. Good base for enjoying arts- we...

We stayed for 14 nights in January & thoroughly enjoyed it. The Hotel was light & spacious & beautifully furnished. The food in the restaurant was of a very high standard & not expensive. An easy walk to the Ramblas or the shopping area as well as to the sea. Would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent location, close to the shops, bus and tram stop and main bus station is 10 min by bus. Property itself very clean, all the rooms, kitchen, bathroom got all the amenities what you need. During the night very quiet, even you are next to the road, where buses and cars driving 24/7. Reception very friendly and always ready to help, when you need some assistance I was very happy with my stay and probably will be back in the future

Very pleasant experience, staff friendly and attended to you needs
