The Big Texan Motel
The staff is tremendous! The area a little rough.. the ceiling in the bathroom covered in mold, the bar style door was off/ broken hinges.. unfortunately,even though they said there was a spot for Dogs (a fenced area ) ,, other guests were allowed to stay in it all night drinking, smoking & playing ...

Loud, AC Barely worked, cleanish, parking situation is meh, staff friendly, but unfortunate.

Drury Inn & Suites Amarillo
Breakfast was mediocre. Elevators very busy. Only 2 elevators. So much time wasted waiting to get up and down!!! The bathrooms could be cleaner, the beds are comfortable but not the pillows. I would not choose this hotel again. The employees were great! The location was great.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Amarillo West by IHG
Friendly staff and good breakfast. Comfortable beds and nice and clean bathroom. What more could you need on a quick stay for a long drive. Will definitely stay here for future drives if they continue to provides these things here.
