"Decent hostelry with comfortable room and good breakfast. Puzzling shortage of mains specials when we sat down to order @ 630pm for our evening meals. Hard working managers both evening and morning. "

"We had such a lovely stay at this clean and friendly hotel. Breakfast was superb and the staff amazing. The hotel is ideally situated with free car parking and a few minutes walk to the bus stop where regular buses took you into Oxford. We dined in the restaurant of an evening and had well cooked meals. Service was a little slow but worth the wait. We would highly recommend and would love to visit again."

"The pool was small and was untidy with discarded towels around the side. The shower in the pool area had a large clump of hair on the shampoo dispenser. At the time of our visit, there was a wedding party and the bar staff were more interested in serving the gentleman at the bar. After getting my order wrong, I was told my order would be brought to my table. It wasn't so I returned to the bar. I was told I would have to wait until the "other" people at the bar were served. The "hot" items from the breakfast buffet were luke warm and when requesting a pot of tea for two, we received tea for one, on both Mornings. The air conditioning in the room didn't work."

"The room was very comfortable and clean. Lovely big shower. The hotel was very nice and again very clean. Great bar. As you walk in to the reception it is very grand like walking into a beautiful Manor House. Breakfast was very nice with plenty to choose from. The problem I had was it said in the booking email they check in was 2pm. It isn’t it’s 3pm . So be careful."

"We were given disabled rooms , which we didn’t request We felt so embarrassed as we have guests with us in second room who were not disabled either When we entered the room seemed like someone was sitting on the bed, used pillow and then left the room We book room with breakfast and was told that we have to pay extra for breakfast when we arrived"
