"Had 4 nights in this hotel. Room is a little outdated and showing significantly. Wednesday evening we ate in the restaurant which was ok. "We loved the large rooms, friendly staff, food and drink options and the convenience to all the restaurants, sight seeing and transportation in Edinburgh. We couldn't have picked a better location. I would definitely stay at Apex Waterloo again. "
"Dakota Edinburgh was beautiful. It’s a great location for airport, and a short train ride from Edinburgh City Centre (plus a walk from the train station). The food was fantastic and the room was very comfortable. Highly recommend!"
"Checkin was fine, receptionist made sure we'd keyed in our car reg to their parking iPad to avoid a penalty charge. Room 20 was a good size, recently renovated, a bit similar to a Premier - so it's pretty good. The only small niggle was the shower didn't have much pressure, but still a 5 star stay.
Bar next door is friendly and inexpensive, breakfast was really good.
All in all great value for money. "
