Note that the noise from the bar next door is really loud as mentioned by other reviews, but it stopped by 11 and is generally very peaceful after that."
"The shining star for this excellent resort was the staff. This resort was clean and the food was excellent. But the real star of the show was the outstanding staff at the resort. I have never had such polite and helpful people at a resort. Any negative areas that this resort has is more than made up for in the quality of their employees. "Ainutlaatuinen pieni hotelli temppelialueen sisällä. Saimme parhaan huoneen, kun muita majoittujia ei hotellissa ollut samaan aikaan. Huone (pieni talo) oli todella suuri ja ylellinen. Pieni oma allas myös pihalla, jota emme kyllä käyttäneet. Yhteinen allas lähes vieressä. Lisäksi temppelialueen suuri pyhän veden allas käytettävissä. Hotellin erikoisuutena vapaa pääsy temppelialueelle myös illalla ja aamulla, kun muita turisteja ei ole paikalla…..todella ainutlaatuista!!"
"This was a very nice hotel but a bit far from the main Amed areas. If you have a car, definitely recommend the hotel. Best coral before the hotel. The staff was very nice and hotel is clean. The price is a bit off scale for the region that is why possibly there were more staff than customers. The breakfast can be better. Kitchen staff is very skilled. "

Situated approximately 2 hours north of Denpasar, it is well worth the trip.
The staff were super friendly, the rooms and amenities very clean and tidy.
A good spot to base yourself for sight seeing in Eastern Bali.
I recommend utilising tour bookings at the hotel, using a driver and guide. We had Desy, as our guide, who was very informative with a cheerful deposition.
Food options were very good with various options at the three restaurants.
There is an ATM across the road from the hotel with a couple of local eateries and a small convenience store.
The hotel arranged transport transfers for us, with no issue.
In all, we enjoyed our week here and will be back for a future stay.

"I stayed at the Mason Park Lodge and it was exquisite from being picked up from my balcony by an elephant for my first dinner to seeing a white peacock with its tail out and 3 giant tortoises on my last day. Everything was very convenient with a beautiful scene at every turn from lush foliage to beautiful wildlife. I was surprised that the menu at the restaurant seemed ordinary in comparison to the surroundings, however the food was well cooked and presented with as with everything else wonderful smiling service. Of course there were elephants at every turn, truely a memorable stay and experience."
