A very special place on the quiet side of Penida, literally a sanctuary. Staff go above and beyond to make your stay the best it possibly can be. We loved the swim up bar, having breakfast on our villa balcony listening to the waves and watching the sunrise, having relaxing baths with a view & the delicious dinners in the restaurant. We were so sad to leave & only hope we get the chance to visit again some day :)

Fantastic stay at this property. Lovely spacious, clean rooms & Sudi the owner was so kind & helpful, giving us lots of information about where to go & great places to eat. Great pool and the gardens were so peaceful & beautifully maintained. 2 lovely puppies also frequently visited 😊

The accommodation was stunning! Breakfast was amazing and the staff were super lovely and attentive. The only downside was not being able to lie by the pool without having a minimum spend on your bed- it is cheaper for people staying at the hotel than outside guests but still 1 million IDR for 4 hours.

MAUA has been by far the best place we stayed at during our trip to Indonesia Everything was perfect - the villa, the private pool overlooking a sunset bay, the sophisticated menu and the service. Absolutely fabulous!!

Batu Karang is a beautiful resort that exceeded my expectations and allowed for a very relaxing stay. The staff are all extremely friendly. The location is stunning with views over Jungbutbatu beach which is only a short stroll away, and crystal clear turquoise waters. The resort is on a steep hill but staff whizz you around on golf buggies. Our room with a plunge pool was lovely and had similarly stunning views although was frustratingly next to a large building site. The interior was luxurious...

Cute cottages and in an idea area for shops restaurants and bars. Property was great. Rooms are cozie

A great and new accommodation right next to the beach and yellow bridge. Soon there will be sea side access to but the view from the pool is amazing. It offers breakfast but no other meals which is not to bad as not far are great restaurants. Very very friendly owner family and staff!
