"The hotel was in a great location and had basic amenities for a weekend stay. It is called out as a spa hotel and the facilities are quite small and some basics were not provided in the rooms that I’d expect at a place calling itself a hotel and spa (like body lotion), but the bed itself was comfortable, the balcony view nice and clean. I did have treatments in the spa which were fine but the jacuzzi, pool and sauna were very small and not the most relaxing. Also, I had booked a triple room...

"Very chill and cozy hotel. Staff are very sweet and helpful, but also not overly bearing. They stay in the background as much as possible. Not overly formal as you get in many hotels. Spa is very good, with good jacuzzi, nice little pool and good sauna and Hamman. Breakfast was also good, a mixture of everything; bacon and eggs, hard boiled if you want. "Overall my 11 year old son and I had a good week in the SOWELL HOTELS Mont Blanc & Spa. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent with well-prepared food and plenty of choice. The room was comfortable and the staff very helpful. The main down-side is how worn and dated the room and all of the communal areas are. I'm not sure when it received it's 4* rating, but the property feels quite aged with bathroom furniture, doors and walls all very worn with visible damage."

"We had a wonderful stay. The staff was great and helpful. Everything was clean, really good restaurant and they had skiing logistics well handled. it was easy to get myself and equipment from the hotel to the lifts"

"Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. As well as being in the ideal location for access to the town centre and ski lifts. "

"A beautiful hotel in a very quiet and secluded area. Very friendly staff that offered us a free upgrade and great advice about what to do and where to hike. The restaurant is also wonderful with probably one of the beat wine lists I've seen. Bravo! You must have a car to get to this place however. If you want to be close to Chamonix (but not IN Chamonix) it's perfect!"

"Our chalet is wonderful - clean, well equipped, warm, very comfy beds. Managers Freddie and Linda have been extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Fabulous gym and pool, sauana and steam room on site. All done superbly."

Ski trip

"Ski trip with my family. Stayed for 5 nights and found it very convenient for Saint Gervais ski and eateries. Hotel is in a quiet location too so slept well. Only real issue was that the bar wasn’t open We’d and Thurs during our stay. Reception staff were very good. "
