We stayed in the Kudu Suite at the Waterfront lodge part of Pumba. Room was massive with two bedrooms with stunning views over the water, a lounge area and two bathrooms. Each with its own bath, one being a jacuzzi bath and open glass showers capturing the magnificent views. Even got to shower with the monkeys looking on!
With two safaris each day, we also got to see many animals including rhino, elephant, giraffe, lion and buffalo. We even got to see the hippo in the water from our room. Our...

We have found it hard to find 4*+ accommodation in the Ndlande/Port Alfred area. This is great. Well trained friendly and effective staff and a manager who never seems to rest. Very nice facilities. Good location close to town and the beach. Quiet location next to the gold course. Felt safe and secure at all times. Once you have seen the big sights of South Africa, this is a nice part of the country to spend a week or two.

In summary amazing. Have stayed at some great hotels in the past, but this is one of the best. Great staff, food, service, rooms.... and the added bonus of game drives.
Would highly recommend

An excellent facility. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Accomodation was very spacious and breakfast was excellent.
Nice views over the town.
This was the first small guest house we had stopped in and would certainly recomend it.

Stayed overnight after a long drive. Lovely spot, with a nice beach a short drive away. Friendly efficient reception. The chalet was nice and clean and spacious with a balcony with views all round.

A really lovely and relaxing place to spend a few days whilst visiting the game reserves.
Very attentive staff, a large and comfy bedroom
A lookout deck, pool, hammock and outdoor seating area are all lovely, and would be fabulous in warmer weather.
Three course dinner (set menu) was delicious and all home-prepared on site. The dining room is also very nice, and we were seated right by the fire - very welcome in August.
The shower did go cold on us twice, but I think in winter it's harder...

I arrived early afternoon and was checked in immediately. I had forgotten to load my South Africa map on to my TomTom GPS before leaving the UK and the lady of the house helped me do this on her own computer for which I will be eternally grateful. room was nice with balcony with table and chairs and river view. Bathroom had a tub - wonderful- and there were plenty of electrical points to charge phone etc. I walked to the nearby Quay Street at dusk to the recommended brew pub where I had a couple...
