Fabulous river view

Lovely hotel at a good price and conveniently located; I stay here often when in the area. Great for a quick overnight trip. Has all amenities I needed. Fabulous view at breakfast along the river (possibly best view in Port Alfred).

Lovely hotel with great value for money

Stayed here for the third time, so it must be good :) Best value-for-money in the town in my opinion. Food was good and rooms were excellent.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The breakfast included was amazing. friendly staff, beautiful pool, spacious and clean rooms. I will definitely stay here again. It was absolutely lovely and safe.

Purified water in each ropm

The only comment I can make is that apparently the water in the rooms is not fit for consumption. Why supply bottled water? This is a costly exercise. If the hotel was to put an RO filtration kit in each room with a filter change every 24 months, there would be no problems. These kits would pay for themselves over and over again. Worth a thought???

Friendly trainee staff...small rooms

Surrounds on the river side of hotel are pleasant. Unfortunately we were told when there was no hot water that it would only be fixed the following day, with no management on site. The standard room has a double bed size only with no extra length. Staff are predominantly trainees at hotel but are friendly. Very small pool area with partial sun during the day. All not what one expects from a 4 or so star hotel spending good money.

Amazing river views and bargain prices

The hotel still looks new after a few years of being around; rooms have a modern styling and the typical amenities; all the staff were very helpful; the hotel has one of the best river views I have seen, so I always had breakfast outside on the river bank; breakfast was excellent - it was not lavish but each item was done well; the price I paid for the room made this a bargain; Wifi worked fine - I wasn't expecting to stream video in Port Alfred anyway so when that did not always work, i was not bothered; have been here before and will stay here again!

A place for more than one stay

Great stay at a very good hotel. food was fantastic. service friendly and very good. only neg. was the noise level at night in out room coming from the street mainly the car guards. will next time ask for a room facing the river.

It’s an amazing place. We really enjoyed our stay, even though on our second day we woke up without hot water. No one had notified us about the incident. Other than that. Everything else was amazing.

My pond hoge verwachten komen niet uit

Tijdens het inchecken hoorde we dat er problemen waren met onze kamer en het water. We werden naar een andere hotel gestuurd wat gelijkwaardig zou zijn, helaas niet het geval. Het hotel was oud en gedateerd en wat vooral heel vies.
