"We arrived a couple hours early and our room was ready - which was fantastic after a very long travel day. The room was small but very comfortable - we booked the mignon room and it was indeed. "I have stayed all over Paris in the last 15 years and this is the best yet. A junior suite it was light, extremely spacious, comfortable and quiet despite a festival on the street below. Staff were all incredibly helpful and breakfast was impressive. Close to the bus, metro, small park and far too many places to eat. I will definitely be back"

"For $941 a night in a small room, the Hotel Madison is way overpriced for what it is. It’s a 4 star hotel with no gym and no spa. The bed was hard as a rock and the pillows are terrible. When I asked, they said they didn’t have a mattress pad or a pillow menu. This was the 3rd time I had stayed at the Madison and it had been recently renovated. All they seemed to do is squeeze in some more rooms and stretch fabric over the walls to give the impression of wallpaper. The only thing the Madison has going for it is a Blvd St Germain address."
