The Firepit is actually at the Jupiter NEXT and is available to guests of both the Original and the NEXT based on event availability. The NEXT also has a fridge for guests to utilize upon request.Our rooms are purposefully minimalist to give guests a place where they can declutter from their daily norms. At the Original only the “Dreamsuite” room has a fridge and a microwave. We do not claim any of these amenities on our website. We hope you were able to take the time to enjoy Portland while you were here.

Our desk staff will always have recommendations for nearby options in the event that we sell out of our paid parking. Sorry to see that this expectation colored the experience of your stay so much. As you never actually stayed with us, and as we waived the same day cancellation fee for your reservation, we find this review confusing since you've had no experience with the property other than for us to do you a favor. Hey Ali, the Jupiter Hotel is a classic Portland staple that is a favorite amongst travelers and locals for it's kitschy vibes, centralized location, and our unique approach to hospitality. We are not like other hotels and that's on purpose! We understand that we may not be to everyone's tastes but, as you said, there are other options in town if you prefer the more corporate standard. Hey Chester, it sounds like you had a rough travel day! We can certainly empathize with the headache flying can sometimes be and wish we'd been able to improve your experience. We do have two loading zones directly in front of the main entrance to the hotel for guests to use while checking in. We are centrally located which means parking is at a premium and we can sometimes sell out. The other lot we recommend is closer to the main lobby than our parking and is directly behind us. Please reach out to us during your next stay if you have any questions or concerns as we pride ourselves on our individualized service we provide and want to ensure you have the most comfortable stay possible.
